Mells Ringers

Leigh on Mendip bell ringers practise at Mells on the second Tuesday of the month from 7.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.  We practise at Leigh on Mendip on the other Tuesdays.

New ringers of all ages are always welcome, with or without experience; you just need to be of average fitness to enjoy a hobby that can keep you active in mind and body until well after retirement!

Monthly meetings for the mature members of the villages in the Mells group of parishes, usually on the fourth Tuesday of each month, between 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. at the Barn for a ‘natter’ and a cup of tea.

We also arrange coach trips and other social events.

Bible & Buns

Christian activity sessions for all children from 4 years old to 9 years old, meeting every Monday in term time at Mells First School 3.30–5.00 p.m.

Each session has a particular theme, often connected with the time of year.

First Mells St Andrew’s Beavers/Cubs meet at Mells Barn on Monday evenings.

Beavers meet 5.15–6.15 p.m. The Beaver pack takes boys and girls 6–8 years old. Contact Paul Clarke tel icon 01373 836835.
