Mells Parish Council’s priority is to administer with prudence, minimum interference and within the requirements of the law those aspects of village life for which we are responsible to the best of our ability, with the aim of improving quality of life for all the residents of Mells and Vobster.
Mells Parish Council meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7.15 p.m. in Mells Barn, Selwood Street, Mells.
Agendas and minutes of the meetings are posted on the notice boards opposite Mells Post Office and Shop, at Little Green and in Upper and Lower Vobster and are available on this website.
Residents of Mells and Vobster are most welcome to attend Parish Council meetings.
The Annual Parish Meeting is held in May each year (NB March in 2020) and provides an opportunity for all to attend and hear what your Council has been doing on your behalf, to share views and to raise questions and concerns.
The Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, Miss Joy Book, is the sole employee of Mells Parish Council and is currently responsible to the Chair.
